Love Letters to the Diaspora

An editorial study of friendship, cultural memory, and the ways heritage is carried collectively.

This project explores South Asian femininity through color, adornment, and shared presence. Rather than centering a single muse, the imagery focuses on the relationship between three women, allowing friendship, softness, and cultural identity to become part of the visual story.

Each look was styled individually while remaining connected through silhouette, jewelry, texture, and color. Together, the portraits reflect the way tradition is preserved not only through clothing, but through community, memory, and the people with whom we choose to share it.
